General Terms and Conditions
First - Purpose
Thuya S.L., through its various distributors, is launching the second edition of the global eyebrow and eyelash championship.
Second - Scope
The championship will take place throughout the international territories where Thuya operates, with its various distributors deciding whether to participate.
Third - Duration
The championship will take place in two phases. The first phase will run from July 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with events held in the various countries participating in the competition. The second phase will take place in Barcelona, Spain, with the winners of each category from each country during the month of October 2027.
The registration deadline will depend on the event date in your country.
Any registration for the championship submitted after the deadline will not be valid.
Fourth.-Participation requirements
Only individuals who are at least 18 years old and industry professionals may participate in the championship.
Fifth: Mechanics of participation
The eligibility requirements for all interested individuals are as follows:
1. Once participants submit their application, the organizers have up to 5 business days to contact the participant and process their registration via email or phone.
2. A contestant may participate in both categories, Eyebrows and Eyelashes. If you wish to enter more than one category, you must inquire about how to purchase the second entry as required by your country’s regulations.
3. Each participant will receive a complete kit for the competition.
4. The organizer in each country will provide: 1 treatment table/chair, 1 ring light, a cart/table for supplies, and disposable supplies (gloves, cotton pads, cotton swabs, and tissues)*
5. It is the participant’s responsibility to bring their own model. The model’s attendance at the event, as well as their punctuality, must be handled directly by the participant; the organization (the distributor in each country) is not responsible for any issues that may arise. If the participant is unable to bring their own model and needs one, they must inform the relevant organization at least 2 weeks in advance so that assistance can be provided.
If the participant fails to provide advance notice regarding the absence of their model, they will be disqualified from the competition, and the organization (the distributor in each country) will not be held responsible for this nor will the entry fee be refunded.

6. The contestant must arrive at the event 1 hour before their scheduled time to check in, receive the necessary documents, get their model number, and go through the photo area.
7. Once each round is over, the contestant must accompany their model to the photo area, pack up their workstation, and leave everything tidy.
8. Participants must wear the championship T-shirt provided in the kit.
Sixth - Prizes
Each distributor will present the prizes (provided by Thuya Spain) to the three winners in each category of the first phase at the end of the competition. Depending on their ranking, they will receive the following prizes:
• 1st prize: trophy, bouquet, certificate, trip to the finals, and a €500 gift certificate for Thuya products.
• 2nd prize: trophy, bouquet, certificate, and a €300 gift certificate for Thuya products.
• 3rd prize: trophy, bouquet, certificate.
In the second phase, to be held in Barcelona, Thuya will award the following three prizes per category:
• 1st prize: Trophy, certificate, and a €1,000 cash prize.
• 2nd prize: Trophy, certificate, and a €500 gift certificate (for THUYA products).
• 3rd prize: Trophy, certificate, and a product gift.
The prizes awarded are not exchangeable for any other product or service and are personal and non-transferable.
The winner of each category may cash their check in their home country upon their return.
Seventh - Mechanics of the championship and general conditions
- Once the mandatory conditions and/or requirements for participating in the championship have been established, the championship results will be announced as follows:
• Phase 1: Each distributor will announce the winners from their country at the end of the championship
• Phase 2: Thuya will announce the winners at the end of the championship in Barcelona (Spain) - Each contestant will receive their championship certificate upon completion of their participation in the first Thuya Championship 2026/2027.
- Participants accept the rules and conditions of the Thuya Championship 2026/2027 when they fill out the registration form and check “I accept the terms and conditions of the championship,” as well as the use of data and images.
- Videos, photographs, and the event logo are the intellectual property of the event and are protected. Each participant must use photos and videos recorded at the event appropriately. It is permitted to use photos, videos, and the logo with an official link to the championship or by tagging the official social media accounts.
Eighth: Exclusion from the championship
1. If it is determined that a participant’s information is false, that the participant is not an individual, or that the information is fraudulent, they will be immediately disqualified from the championship.
2. Any person who has already participated in the same ongoing championship in another country will be excluded.
3. The winners of the first edition of the Thuya Championship 2024/2025 are excluded. This includes all those who qualified for the 2025 final.
Ninth: Eligibility requirements
1. Winners and participants expressly accept, from the moment they enter, and without claiming ignorance, the official rules of the competition, their participation in it, and the transfer of their image rights during the event.
2. The identities of the winners will be announced during the competitions in the various countries.
Tenth - Personal data
By participating in the championship, participants agree that the information they provide will be added to a database owned by the distributors in each country and by Thuya S.L.U.
Winners may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, or objection, in full compliance with current data protection regulations.
The organizing company reserves the right to verify the accuracy of the information provided, as well as the ages and identities of the winners, before proceeding with the awarding of prizes.
Eleventh.- Transfer of image rights
The express acceptance of the prize by the winning participants implies authorization to transfer the image rights to any photographs and audiovisual recordings that may be taken at the time of the corresponding awards ceremony. This acceptance extends to Thuya S.L. staff or third parties authorized by Thuya S.L., and includes the use of such materials for advertising purposes, as well as participation in any potential interviews, reports, and/or social media/web platforms or other channels that may be utilized, waiving any form of compensation, and/or claim under any circumstances regarding the capture of the aforementioned images or the audiovisual recording and the transfer of exploitation rights.
In accordance with the foregoing, any current or future media, advertising, and promotional materials in which the winners’ images may appear shall be the property of Thuya S.L. and its various distributors.
Twelfth: General Rules and Regulations
Participation in the “Thuya Lashes & Brows International Championship” contest implies the participants’ full and complete acceptance of these Rules. In the event of any doubts regarding the interpretation of these Rules, the organizers’ decision shall prevail. Any statement to the contrary, that is, non-acceptance of these Rules, will result in the participant’s exclusion, and, as a consequence, Thuya S.L.U. will be released from fulfilling its obligations to said participant.
Thuya S.L.U. and its distribution districts reserve the right to exclude any participants who make fraudulent use of the means of participation.
Thuya S.L.U. reserves the right to modify these Rules in the event that, with just cause, circumstances arise that could affect the objectivity and transparency of the contest.
Any issue that may arise and is not addressed in these Rules will be resolved by Thuya S.L.U. at its sole discretion.
Participation in this promotion implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, including the application of any applicable tax regulations.
